Tell us briefly about your background & how you got started in your medium.

Photographer since 1963. I’ve photographed people, places, things, nature and weddings. Won some local awards. Won some national awards. Publshed locally and nationally. Self published my book “The Allure of Natural”. Love nature landscapes.

What do you like most about your medium?

Early morning light in a national park or pristine wilderness somewhere.

Who or what have been your artistic inspirations?

From the work of Elliott Porter, Ansel Adams and Art Wolfe.

What would be your advice to artists just starting out in your medium?

shoot, shoot, shoot. Then review and learn. Use all social media if you can. There is usually no emotion to a digital file, so market your product.
